Ambassador/Membership Development Small Business Awards
Plans and coordinates the activities of the Ambassadors Program to recruit new members. Plans and coordinates all member functions which includes Business After Hours and New Member Reception Ambassador

Facilitate the process of selecting a small business of the year

Government Relations & Economic Development Education Liaison
Serve as liaison between Chamber and government leaders/ elected officials. Serves as facilitor of information to the Board of Directors. Works with government leaders and elected officials for economic development.

Chair... Jim Wiszowaty

Serves as liaison between Chamber and Lexington County School District Three. Serves as facilitator of information to the Board of Directors. Represented by the current Superintendent of Lex. Co. School District Three.

Representative... Dr. Bill Gummerson

Marketing and Communications Programs Committee
Plans and coordinates ways to promote the Chamber and to enhance its public image. Monitors and publicizes Chamber's accomplishments regularly throughout the year. Honors key Chamber and community individuals.

Chair.. Jim Mitchell

Plans programs and speaker for monthly membership meeting. Ensures greeters are available for each meeting. Works with membership Chair on special programs (i.e. Business After Hours, new membership receptions, etc.). All members submit names for guest speakers.

Auction Membership Development Services
Plans and coordinates the Annual Auction (scheduled in August, providing an excellent networking opportunity and social event for members). Strives to meet profit goals as a non-dues
fundraiser.

Plans and coordinates all member to member services.

Finance Committee
Oversees, monitors and compares fiscal year revenues and expenses to the annual budget. Makes recommendations for next year's annual budget.

Golf Tournament
Plans and coordinates the annual tournament at the Ponderosa Country Club (scheduled in October, providing an excellent networking opportunity and social event for members). Strives to meet profit goals as a non-dues fundraiser.
