On the second full weekend in May, Batesburg-Leesville hosts the annual South Carolina Poultry Festival - two exciting days of food, fun, music, and crafts. Watch the parade, cheer for beauty contestants, listen to local musicians, dance the night away, and thrill to carnival rides. The community serves as the home base for the majority of South Carolina's poultry production and cordially invites all visitors to experience one of the state's largest theme festivals.
